Bajarse al moro
When Fernando Colomo undertook this adaptation of the play of the same name, he was already a key director of the cinematic milestone that was called “la comedia madrileña” (the Madrid comedy) and that starred the auteur cinema of the eighties.
This film moves away in a good way from the festive tone that guided his previous titles to get much closer to his characters and present a world where other variables such as class or the future reveal a less playful environment.
Aitana Sánchez-Gijón's character manages to make a place for herself among her three co-stars who are already part of the canon of our best performers.
Synopsis: Chusa shares an apartment with her cousin, a drug dealer, and her boyfriend, a policeman. To help her cousin, Chusa sometimes smuggles weed from Morocco. Since everyone smokes a little, there is always a need for more. Chusa then decides to go to Morocco with a friend, but this time things don't go as she thought. [Source: Lola Films]
