Antonio Muñoz Molina, el oficio del escritor
Álvaro Giménez SarmientoMaría del Puy Alvarado, through her production company Malvalanda, faced the proposal of producing a documentary on the writer Antonio Muñoz Molina, in one of the windows offered by Televisión Española to give an account of the great creators of Spanish culture and in Spanish. On this occasion, the approach to the Andalusian writer reveals a rich portrait that comes from the writer's self-reflection that, in many moments, is spurred by the interlocution of his life partner and writer Elvira Lindo. Synopsis: Documentary portrait of the writer Antonio Muñoz Molina, one of the great figures of contemporary Spanish literature, who has lived between Madrid and New York for many years. In Spain there is his family, his land, his publishing house, the place where he grew up and never left; in New York the illusions, the anonymity of its streets and the quiet public life and his work at New York University as a professor of literature, or as director of Cervantes for two years. There, he is one of the ambassadors of our language and our literature.
