The Golden Age of Spain

What connection is there between football and literature? Discover it in “The Golden Age of Spain”, a scavenger hunt through the Dámaso Alonso Library at Instituto Cervantes Dublin.
Through a series of challenges and activities, participants will explore the library and step into the golden age of Spanish literature, discovering some of its most important authors, works and characters.
The activity takes inspiration from the Spanish Golden Age, which inspired the latest shirt of the Spanish men’s national football team, to explore the links between football and literature in a fun and engaging way.
To complete the different challenges, participants will use the library’s tablets and put their knowledge, powers of observation and ingenuity to the test.
