Redemption: 14th Latin American Film Festival in Australia

14th Latin American film festival in Australia with 14 totally free screenings and each of them originating from different Latin American countries such as Mexico, Uruguay, El Salvador, Paraguay, Guatemala, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and Cuba. Films in original version (Spanish) subtitled in English. The film that will be screened will be Redemption of Paraguay: José, a former combatant of the Chaco War (1932-1935) and terminally ill, receives the visit of Marlene, the granddaughter of a former comrade. Together they embark on a journey full of memories to find the whereabouts of Marlene's grandfather. They discover stories, dig up the past and find "The Redemption" together.
