The Garden of Earthly Delights is a book of memories and experiences in which Francisco Ayala, like in the homonymous picture of El Bosco, approaches the dichotomy between love and pain, tenderness and cruelty, life and death. They are diverse pieces, written throughout the years, from 1941, as if they were the news that rest in the pages of a newspaper that yellowish in a library.

A brief text from the book will be analysed in the workshop.
