Kafka y la muñeca viajera by Jordi Sierra i Fabra
June is dedicated to youth literature with Kafka and the traveling doll by Jordi Sierra i Fabra (National Prize for Children and Youth Literature 2007). The story relates how Franz Kafka, walking through Steglitz Park, in Berlin, found a girl crying disconsolately: she had lost her doll. To calm the little one, the author of The metamorphosis invented a peculiar story in which the doll had not been lost, she had gone on a trip, and he, turned into a doll postman, had a letter that would take her to the park the next day.
