The Knight Don Quixote

After an old soldier named Miguel de Cervantes (1547-1616) collected in writting the adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the knight and his squire have become very popular.

When he realizes that the Turkish travels along the Mediterranean coast with a powerful army, Don Quixote undertakes, again, opposed by his niece and housekeeper, a new adventure that begins in La Mancha and ends in the coast. Dressed in his medieval armor, rather old at the time, the knight travels with his faithful squire, who has decided to go with him and serve him in exchange for the governance of an island that Don Quixote has promised. Moreover, the knight, eager to exorcise the spell suffered by his beloved Dulcinea, will visit the cave of Montesinos.

The Instituto Cervantes Sydney will present the film as part of the Film Cycle called "Don Quixote in the movies"
