Torres: A 150 Anniversary Celebration

The venerable Torres winery was founded 150 years ago. Since then it has remained family owned. In the last 50 years Torres has been one of the leaders of the wine revolution that has transformed the wines of Spain. First they pioneered the introduction of international varieties creating wines like the iconic Mas La Plana. More recently they have developed an ambitious program to rescue forgotten local varieties culminating in the creation of their acclaimed Grans Muralles. In addition they have expanded to other wine regions like Priorat, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Rías Baixas. This wine seminar is a celebration of Torres’ achievements and we will taste 12 of their most distinctive wines.
