The Duero Challenge

One of the great wine rivers of the world, the banks of the Duero River are home to the prestigious Ribera del Duero and Toro wine appellations as well as the Douro in Portugal. In addition, led by the astonishing quality and success of Mauro wines, a few wineries and winemakers, like Abadía Retuerta, started crafting high quality wines outside these wine regions. In this seminar we will taste some the great red wines that emerge from vineyards planted on the banks of the Duero River valley in both Spain and Portugal.
