Living & Writing in 21st Century Cuba with Leonardo padura desconocido

In celebration of the "La Avellaneda", the highest recognition in literature by the Cuban Cultural center of New York, we will honor Leonardo Padura, one od the most emblematic novelists of contemporary Cuban literature. The writer, journalist, critic and playwright, received the Prtincesa de Asturias Prize in literature in 2015. He is considered one of the great modernnizers of the Spanish language in the genre of the mystery novel. The author of  "The man who loved dogs will be presented by writer Lourdes Gil. The prize will be presented by poet Iraida Iturralde.
