Jota by Carlos Saura

Carlos saura allows us to experience the joy and strength of the dance and music of "La Jota". As in "Flamenco", "Tango" or "Fados", "Jota" has envolved froma millennial traditional music and dance, to new artistic dimension. The work counts on the collaborating of Miguel A. Berna, Sara Baras, carlos Nuñez and Ara Malikian. The filmmakers`s personality and aesthetic taste are present in each shot, at the crossroad of performing arts, cinema and painting. With this personal style, saura continues to distill the magic and explore the boundaries of art in its purest state.
