Hispanic Heritage Month at our Library

Hispanic Heritage Month at our Library Rethinking Chicana/o Literature Through Food : Postnational Appetites by Nieves Pascual Soler, Meredith E. Abarca, Kenneth A. Loparo

Hispanic Heritage Month offers another opportunity to explore the incredible impact that Latinas and Latinos have had on the United States throughout generations. It is celebrated from September 15 to October 15. The Latino presence in the United States dates back several centuries, even before Spain colonized what is now part of the United States. We want to make this Hispanic and Latino presence known in our library, by displaying books, records or films that speak of the contribution of this community to the construction of the United States.
