Great Estates from Spain

Wineries in Spain have traditionally favored styles like Reserva and Gran Reserva over vineyard designations. But in the current century a movement demanding village, estate, and vineyard designation has grown all over the country from Priorat to Bierzo to Rioja. The Grandes Pagos de España association was created to promote wines that emerge from distinctive terroirs. Some of Spain’s best wineries are among its members. This tasting seminar is devoted to this association of prestigious properties all over the country.
