Flamenco origines

Acclaimed Spanish composer, guitarist and internationally recognized producer Javier Limón presents Flamenco Orígenes, a journey back in time, exploring the origins of Flamenco music. The roots of Flamenco go back to Sephardic music; Arabic music -which is an essential part of the history of the Iberian Peninsula and undisputed pillar of the melodic and rhythmic legacy of the Andalusian music; and Gypsy music, with its origins in Northern India. Flamenco Orígenes features four extraordinary singers representing these musical traditions that exemplify the origins of Flamenco.          Ten-time Latin Grammy winner Javier Limón is known for his collaborations with Paco de Lucía, Bebo and Chucho Valdés, AnoushkaShankar, Wynton Marsalis, Buika and Avishai Cohen among others.
