Family Storytelling: Willariy. Narration of Quechua Stories and Myths Ángela Ponce

As part of the exhibition "Guardians of the Glaciers", by Peruvian photographer Ángela Ponce, we invite you to enjoy a family storytelling session with writer, poet, and translator Odi Gonzales, who will transport us to the Andean world through stories in Spanish and Quechua. This is a unique experience to discover narratives that converse with nature and ancestral traditions. Odi Gonzales (Calca, Peru, 1962) is a poet, translator, and university professor. He writes in Spanish and Quechua, and has dedicated his work to preserving the Andean oral tradition. Author of poetry collections such as "Valle Sagrado", "Almas en pena, and Tunupa: El libro de las sirenas", he has received the César Vallejo National Poetry Prize. He holds a PhD in Latin American Literature, teaches Quechua and Andean culture at New York University, and is recognized for his contributions to revitalizing Indigenous languages and promoting the Andean worldview.
