Aiming to promote the
important Chilean film production, Mamalluca Chilean Film Festival
returns once again with its second date at Instituto Cervantes New York with the screening of the feature film Disconnected by Chilean filmmaker Diego Rougier. The movie tells the story of Victoria, a mother addicted to the internet and her work, who is completely disconnected from her
teenage children, Clara and Julian. Just when she is about to receive her much desired
promotion, a solar storm leaves the world without the internet, indefinitely. With her ex-
husband stuck abroad, she finds herself having to be a mother without the help of apps or the
