Naomi Klein is an award-winning journalist, syndicated columnist, and inaugural Gloria Steinem Endowed Chair in Media, Culture, and Feminist Studies at Rutgers University. Naomi is also the Senior Correspondent for The Intercept and author of the international bestsellers No is Not Enough: Resisting Trump’s Shock Politics and Winning the World We Need, This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs The Climate, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, and No Logo. Jamia Wilson is an activist, feminist leader, writer, and speaker, and has been a leading voice on women’s rights issues for over a decade as the director of the Feminist Press at the City University of New York and former VP of programs at the Women's Media Center. Her work has appeared in numerous outlets, including The New York Times, the Today Show, CNN, Elle, BBC, and The Washington Post. The conversation will explore the role of media in social justice movements as well as Naomi’s first year as the Gloria Steinem Endowed Chair.
