Artists Latin American women in US: GRUPO <11>

Organized as an initiative by Grupo <11>  , an artist collective founded in New York City by five women from the Americas, this exhibition brings together artistsfrom different disciplines to establish a dialogue concerning the complexity of their creative process as they question dominant normative discourses incontemporary art. Each founding member of Grupo <11> , has invited another artist to be part of this project, creating an expanded group of 11 artists fromArgentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Spain and the U.S.
