Aristide y sus tres orillas; Film, Caricature & Social Critism

Ubaldo Medina’s 2016 documentary covers the highlights of legendary Cuban caricaturist Aristide's career in Cuba, Colombia and Miami. We will be celebratingthe New York premiere of the film at Instituto Cervantes along with its protagonist and the renowned Cuban musician Paquito D’Rivera.  The artists will make an overview of Aristide’s life, one of the most prolific artists of his generation and whose work takes on most manifestations of the plastic arts, journalism and performing arts.
