Cuban economy guidelines for the future Centro Cultural Cubano

A recognition of economist Carmelo Mesa-Lago, Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Economics and Latin American Studies, University of Pittsburgh. Mesa-Lago is a visiting professor, researcher, and lecturer in 40 countries in addition to the author of 92 books and 300 articles published in 7 languages and 34 countries. He is the past president of the Latin American Studies Association, a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance, and part of editorial boards of six academic journals. He won the International Labor Organization Prize on Decent Work with Nelson Mandela in 2007. His most recent book is Voices of Change in Cuba from the Non-State Sector (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2018).
