José Marti's sojourn in Santander

An illustrated lecture on José Martí’s sojourn in Santander, Spain, after his second deportation bySpanish colonial authorities in September 1879, exploring its impact on Martí, as well as the city’sinfluence in his writing, in the context of the cultural, trade, and historical interrelations between Havana and Santander.
