2007 AT TEN

2007 was an outstanding vintage in much of Italy of California. Robert Parker pronounced that 2007 in the Southern Rhone “may be the most compelling vintage of any viticultural region I have ever tasted.” In Spain a significant number of top winemakers, especially in Rioja, also considered it one of their finest years due to its cold, dry and long season that allowed for a slow and perfect ripening. The results are unusually complex wines of great distinction, rich aromatic profiles, and promising longevity. In this seminar we will blind taste the evolution of this important vintage.
