The 13 roses

After leading an uneventful life in the Madrid before Franco, some women will participate in the fight against fascism at the end of the Spanish civil war. Some will be imprisoned after having released some pamphlets against the dictatorship, others only because they were suspected of being communists. The film is a story of women who are going to live an incredible story and become a symbol of the fight against fascism and barbarism, between idyll and tragedy, real history and fiction.
