Teaching Spanish in India: New paths, new challenges
Tribuna de Hispanistas indiosThe teaching of Spanish in India has been experiencing constant growth in recent years. This is due to several factors, such as the growing interest in Spanish culture and language, the increase in trade relations between India and Spanish-speaking countries, and the availability of resources for teaching Spanish. The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) of the Government of India proposes a paradigmatic shift in teaching and learning across the education system, including in the teaching of foreign languages. This talk is about the creation of new platforms for learning Spanish and the challenge of making them accessible to remote learners.
