After the success achieved with his first feature film, The Plague, of 2013, Neus Ballús embarked on a trip to Africa to bring us closer to the way in which Europeans live, as tourists or as businessmen, the confrontation with a different culture. The director manages, as she had done in her previous works and will happen in her subsequent feature film, The Odd-Job Men (2021), to delve into the complexity that exists on the surface of everyday life.

Synopsis: Marta, a 17-year-old girl, goes on vacation to a resort in Africa with her father and her little brother. Marta is bored and prefers to spend more time with the young people who work at the hotel than with her own family. These new friendships will strain her relationship with her father and force the family to talk and try to understand each other. The trip will become a much richer experience for everyone than they could imagine.
