Poet and musician at the same time, the figure of the singer-songwriter has a specific weight in the musical culture of our area due to his often vindictive character and the undoubted poetic quality of his lyrics. In this talk, our reference musicologist will review the most notable singer-songwriters in Spanish and Portuguese, such as Joaquín Sabina, Silvio Rodríguez, Joao Bosco or Natalia Lafourcade, among others.
