Raise Ravens

Raise Ravens Cría cuervos

Carlos Saura received the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, for Raise Ravens such that the incredible eyes of Ana Torrent have been imprinted in cinematographic history. Ana remembers everything that happened since the death of her father, twenty years before. Her nine-year-old daughter believes she has power over the life and death of those who live with her. There is another power that Ana believes she possesses: that of invoking the presence of her mother. With her, who has been dead for years, she revives a relationship full of tenderness and, at times, dominant.
