Cartola. Music for the eyes

The film portrays the story of Angenor de Oliveira, also known as Cartola. One of the most important composers of Brazilian music of all time, Cartola is the author of representative works of the culture of samba, such as "The world is a Mill" and "Roses do not Speak". In the documentary, the directors Lirio Ferreira and Hilton Lacerda show the importance of Cartola in Brazilian music through an exciting panorama of the authentic samba and its main songwriters.
