Carol's Journey
Synopsis Carol (Clara Lago), a teenager with a Spanish mother and North American father, travels to Spain for the first time with her mother (Barranco) in 1938. Her father, whom she adores, is a pilot in the International Brigades. When she arrives in her mother's hometown, she meets a family that, in addition to living under the garb of conventions, hides many secrets. But Carol, with a rebellious character, opposes the rigidity of that world that is foreign to her. Her complicity with Maruja (Rosa M.ª Sardá), the wisdom of her grandfather (Álvaro de Luna) and her love for Tomiche (Juanjo Ballesta) will open the doors to a universe of adult feelings that will make her trip a discovery within, tender, vital and unforgettable.
