César Vallejo: The corpse that refuses to die
The poetry of César Vallejo constitutes a milestone not only within the poetic tradition in the Spanish language but also within universal literature. In this online conference, the Hispanicist Akshay Kale will discuss the universal character of the Peruvian poet's work through poems dedicated to him by other poets, such as the Spanish Gerardo Diego and José Ángel Valente, the Salvadoran Roque Dalton, the American Phillip Levine or the Indian Dilip Chitre.
