Butterfly

Based on three different stories by the Galician writer Manuel Rivas, although with a unitary result, this film places his action at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War and tells the story of a boy who is going to go to school. He is afraid because he has heard that teachers hit. However his, D. Gregorio, masterfully interpreted by Fernando Fernán Gómez is a master who does not hit. In this film some of the archetypal characters of rural Spain at that time are portrayed: the chief, the teacher and the priest.
