Ez, eskerrik asko. Gladys’ window

At the end of the 1970s, the anti-nuclear movement was able to bring together very disparate currents of environmentalism in Spain. Moreover, the mobilizations against the State's nuclearization plans sometimes resulted in important victories, such as the campaigns to stop the start-up of the Lemoniz power plant. However, there were also notable losses along the way, such as that of the activist Gladys del Estal, assassinated during an anti-nuclear demonstration in Tudela in 1979. Her memory has inspired environmentalism in the Basque Country ever since, as well as this film.
