It is summer in a working-class and marginal neighborhood of Seville. Tano, a teenager serving time in a reformatory, receives a 48-hour special permit to attend the wedding of his brother Santacana. With his best friend, Richi, he throws himself into living those hours with the firm intention of having fun and doing everything that is forbidden to him: he gets drunk, takes drugs, steals, loves and feels alive and free again. But, as the hours pass, Tano also witnesses the collapse of all his points of reference: the neighborhood, the family, love, friendship, everything has changed. Beyond a 48-hour permit, Tano's freedom becomes a forced journey towards maturity.
