Lucky Star

Ricardo Franco's penultimate work is organized around a three-voiced drama of its three main characters played by Maribel Verdú, Antonio Resines and Jordi Mollà, who star in this breathless story. From a marginal perspective, another recurring cinema theme of the eighties and later years, to a reflection about existence itself considered altruistic as a constant connection with the lives of others —and the service to them and by them—, the love triangle of these three characters recalls the claustrophobia of closed environments, where family life and its destruction permeates an impossible daily life, when the drive for life and death is stronger than the survival of the individuals themselves.
