Gold
Based on a book
by the Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte and inspired by 16th century
expeditions. Oro tells about one of those incursions through the
Central-American jungle, looking for a mythical city made of gold. The
conquistadores, blinded by their ambition, cross lands populated by wild
animals, enduring heat and humidity, and harassed by hostile and cannibal
tribes. The promise of gold not only challenges their survival instincts, it
also makes them confront their inner-selves as they face-up the risks taken.
