The Spanish Wave in Focus Wales 2024

The Spanish Wave will be present once again at the Welsh festival FOCUS WALES, which will take place between May 9th and 11th in the Welsh town of Wrexham. This year, there will be four musical proposals that the project will bring to the Welsh festival: Valencia-based ELENA JÁTIVA, the British-Spanish duo REME, the Tenerife duo DYATLOV, and Valencia-based RUVENRUVEN.

FOCUS WALES is an international festival held at multiple venues across the city of Wrexham, North Wales. The festival focuses the music industry's attention on the emerging talent that Wales has to offer the world, along with a selection of the best-emerging artists from around the globe.

This year marks the 14th anniversary of the festival and will welcome over 20,000 people to the city, building on the attendance record of 2023 during a weekend packed with events and an incredible lineup where our national artists will share the stage with big stars like SPIRITUALIZED, THE MYSTERINES, THE ROYSTON CLUB, DEERHOF, etc., as well as Welsh artists that The Spanish Wave introduced in Madrid in 2022 such as THE BUG CLUB or ADWAITH.

FOCUS WALES strongly supports artists from different parts of the world and different languages, and national and cultural identities are an essential part of this wonderful festival in North Wales.

In the past, legends such as ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN, RICHARD HAWLEY, THE CORAL, SQUID, DAMO SUZUKI (RIP), etc., have headlined the festival. For The Spanish Wave internationalization platform, this is an unmissable event to showcase its musical proposals and make them known beyond our borders.
