The next session will focus on the work of Aníbal Núñez, author of several books of poems, and translations. Despite the originality and unity of his work, Aníbal Núñez received only limited recognition during his lifetime. Even after publishing Fábulas domésticas in one of Spain's most prestigious collections, his work was largely ignored by critics. He faced numerous obstacles in publishing, with many of his books delayed or heavily restricted. As a result, most of his published works were written years earlier. Today, his increasingly acclaimed poetry defies easy categorization within contemporary Spanish literary trends.
