Pedro Lemebel (Santiago de Chile, 1952-2015) was a writer, activist and artist. In 1987, with Francisco Casas, he created the collective "Yeguas del Apocalipsis", which developed extensive plastic work in photography, video, performance and installation. His narrative work is made up of the collection of stories "Incontables" (1986) and the novel "Tengo miedo torero" (2001; Las afueras 2021). He published the books of the chronicles "la esquina de mi corazón" (1995), "Loco afán. Crónicas de sidario" (1996), "De perlas y cicatrices (1998), "Zanjón de la Aguada" (2003), "Adiós mariquita linda "(2005)," Serenata cafiola "(2008) and "Háblame de amores "(2012). In 2016, the chronicles book "Mi amiga Gladys" was published posthumously.
