I SRUK/CERU Science Communication Symposium

The Communication and Online Department, the Midlands Constituency, the Outreach Department of the Society of Spanish Researchers in United Kingdom SRUK/CERU, with the support of the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, is delighted to organise the I SRUK/CERU Science Communication Symposium.

We have prepared this two-day symposium as we believe that science communication is a crucial tool that all professionals working around research and innovation must possess, but, most of the time we oversee it and do not get proper training. This symposium will combine keynote talks with practical workshops and roundtables that will verse around these four topics:

1. Institutional Science Communication.

2. Citizen Science and Public Engagement.

3. The use of new media channels in Science Communication.

4. Plastic arts in Science Communication.
