Christmas Celebration
We are is hosting an event to celebrate Christmas and bid farewell to 2018 with a performance by the centre's choir, a children's performance by the Mexican pastorela of the Colibri group and a small drinks reception for aperitifs. The perfect occasion to bring the public closer to the Spanish and Mexican cultural heritage of oral tradition.
As part of the Echoes Festival, our very own choir, directed by the musicologist Paco Fernández, starts Christmas in the most joyful way possible: delighting the public with a repertoire of folk songs in Spanish.
For their part, the group 'Colibrí Infantil' offers the performance Entre pastores te veas, by the Mexican author Tomás Urtusástegui, which shows one of the most deeply rooted Mexican traditions of this time of year.
The event will be followed by a Spanish Christmas food reception and other suprises.
