Chaves Nogales: Spanish exiles in London

On 19 February at the British Library, with a session of public readings and lectures presented by Eva Nieto McAvoy, specialist in the Spanish exile; Rahul Bery, resident translator for the British Library; and Ignacio Peyró, director of the Instituto Cervantes in London. They will each bring us closer to the life, times and legacy of Manuel Chaves Nogales, as well as to the London that took in prominent Spanish writers, including the great Catalan journalist Josep Pla.
