Presentation of the special issues dedicated to Galician Mobilities in the JRS Journal of Romance Studies

Galician Mobilities: Revisiting Migration and morriña, edited by María Alonso Alonso, Catherine Barbour, and Gustavo San Román. This special issue brings together emergent and well-established scholars of Galician Studies based in Galicia, Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom to provide fresh and timely insight into the debates surrounding the migrations that have defined and continue to define Galicia. After an introduction on recent research on the Galician diaspora, there follow five case studies covering the period from the late nineteenth century to the present day on fiction, theatre and the visual arts.
