Fear: An approach to Santiago Roncagliolo's fiction

Fear is one of our most essential emotions, and, therefore, those that best define us. The novelistic work of Santiago Roncagliolo has radiographed the fears of the Hispanic world, from everyday life to political history. His novels, characterized by suspense and black humour, have appeared in more than twenty languages and won awards such as the Alfaguara and the Independent Prize of Foreign Fiction.
