The Barcelona director Enric Ribes focuses his work in the field of documentary. With Cantando en las azoteas Ribes composes an emotional and tender portrait - like its main character - of Gilda Love, whose Christian name, according to his narrative, was Eduardo Enrique Gustavo Francisco, although none of those men was ever felt. Guillermo Irriguible's luminous soundtrack and filmic language, sometimes close to video art, contribute to creating this beautiful audiovisual story.
