Romancero Talks Series on Women Writers of the Silver Age of Spanish Literature: Letters Carmen Conde - Amanda Junquera (1936 - 1978 Editorial Torremozas

Fran Garcerá, editor of the book, in conversation with Jorge Gárriz.

The 393 letters that make up the epistolary crossed by Carmen Conde (Cartagena, 1907-Majadahonda, 1996) and Amanda Junquera (Madrid, 1898-1986), from 1936 until 1978, are the testimony of the relationship established between both writers. This edition, prepared by Fran Garcerá and Cari Fernández, includes an introduction and a wide photographic annexe, which accompany the story told in the letters and also complete it, since they account for the private time they shared and, therefore, in which it was not necessary to write. This is also the memory of some of the obstacles that our authors had to overcome throughout the 20th century, as well as of their networks of friendship and affection with their contemporaries and other intellectuals.
