This documentary is a delicate work on the recovery of historical memory. It is not only a tribute to the writer and pioneer of feminism in Spain but also the story of the life and work of a brilliant woman, hidden behind her husband's name.

Synopsis: The works of María Lejárraga, a writer and pioneer of feminism in Spain during the 1920s, were published under the name of her husband, the theatre businessman Gregorio Martínez Sierra. The most prolific Spanish playwright of all time, author of works such as Canción de cuna, adapted into film five times, and the libretto for Falla's El amor brujo, she was also a deputy for the Second Republic and a founder of pioneering projects for women's rights and freedoms. To the Women of Spain. María Lejárraga is also the chronicle of a historical moment led by a group of brilliant and courageous women who sought to build a better future, and whose dreams of progress were thwarted by the outbreak of the Civil War.
