Frank Wynne and Javier Cercas discuss the weight of words in Cercas’ writing with particular focus on The Imposter, longlisted in Wynne’s English translation for the Man Booker International Prize.

Javier Cercas is a novelist, short-story writer and essayist, whose books include El móvil (The Motive), and Relatos reales (True Tales). Since  the book Soldados de Salamina was published, it has sold more than 500,000 copies in Spain. It is being published in more than fifteen languages. He is a regular contributor to El País.
