We invite you to discover the latest novels by three prominent voices in Latin American and Irish literature: Reyna Grande (Mexico/USA), María José Caro (Peru) and Audrey Magee (Ireland). With deep roots in culture and affection, both Latin American writers explore themes such as memory, childhood, and the complexity of human relationships in their works. Meanwhile, Audrey Magee, with her refined and fluid prose, bring a perspective of detached observation to human conflict.

Reyna Grande will talk about A Ballad of Love and Glory, a historical fiction about love and overcoming adversity, in which Grande honours the San Patricio Battalion. María José Caro will chat about Vida animal, a novel that explores friendship and its tensions. Audrey Magee will introduce us to her latest novel, The Colony, in which she explores complex themes such as colonialism, identity, and language.

Join us for this literary dialogue and discover the stories, geographies, and characters behind their pages.
