The aim of this story is to tackle prejudice against people with an intellectual disability, such as Down syndrome, and their relationship with people that do not have an intellectual disability. The film was directed by Álvaro Pastor and Antonio Naharro and was filmed in Spanish cities such as Seville, Huelva and Madrid in 2009.

The main character in the film is thirty-four-year-old Daniel, a young man from Seville. He is the first European with Down syndrome to have graduated from university. He starts a social services job in Seville, where he meets free-spirited co-worker Laura. They become fast friends, drawing the attention of both their co-workers and families.

The film received the Best Actor and Best Actress Award at the 57th San Sebastian Film Festival 2009.
