Forgotten Roads

The first feature film by Chilean director Nicol Ruíz Benavides boldly addresses the rediscovery of sexuality in older adults. The film explores the redefinition of women's social roles in areas far removed from the culture of diversity, presenting it as a tribute to the tenderness and affection that accompany any reflection on love and its capacity to help us move forward.

Synopsis: Claudina is a rural woman who has not fully lived her life. After the death of her husband, she meets Elsa, a married woman who invites Claudina to discover true love. Under the scrutiny of a small conservative town in southern Chile, obsessed with UFO sightings, Claudina embarks on a challenging journey to be free. This journey makes her brave enough to leave everything behind and understand that freedom is individual and inalienable. [Filmin]
